is a Vietnamese screenwriter and producer based between Ho Chi Minh City and Los Angeles. After graduating from Foreign Trade University and studying Screenwriting at Saigon International Film School, she began her filmmaking career with Summer in Closed Eyes (2018), followed by Saigon in the Rain (2020), Once Upon a Love Story (2024), and Money Kiss (2025).
In 2020, Tra co-founded MM Production, where she expanded into commercial and branded content, producing work for brands including Samsung TV, Samsung Bespoke, and Caltex.
Her work is rooted in character-driven storytelling and explores how distinctly Vietnamese stories can resonate across cultures. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Producing at DePaul University in Los Angeles as a Fulbright scholar, with the goal of bringing Vietnamese stories to wider global audiences.
