As one of the five core team members behind Saigon in the Rain, Tra was involved in the project from its early development through production and release. She co-wrote the screenplay, managed casting, invested in the film, worked on set as 2nd Assistant Director, contributed lyrics to its original soundtrack, and supported its social media marketing. Working across the creative, production, financial, and promotional sides of the project gave her a broader understanding of how an independent feature is built from the ground up.
